FAQ
Questions and answers
A certified translation is prepared by a court interpreter and authenticated with a seal and signature, guaranteeing its identity with the original. Such translations have legal value. Non-certified translations are also professional, but do not have official validity and are used for unofficial documents such as websites, brochures or internal correspondence.
The billing unit for determining the cost of translation is the translation page (1,500 characters including spaces). The minimum charge is for one page.
Urgent translations requiring fast turnaround or weekend work are charged at a higher rate.
The turnaround time depends on the type and complexity of the text. Typically, a court interpreter can translate 4 pages of text per day from Croatian to a foreign language and 6 pages from a foreign language to Croatian.
You can order a translation via the web form on our website, by e-mail, by phone or in person. If it is a certified translation, you can submit the documents in scanned form or in person. After agreeing on the price and deadline, the translation will be completed within the agreed timeframe.
